Chanelle Miroux is 19 years old from Rockland, ON. She has been dancing since she was 3 years old trying to imitate Michael Jackson.  She first started as a figure skater for the Rockland figure skating club.  It is skating that started her in actual dance classes because she had to learn beats and counts on the ice.  She then fell in love with dancing, and after 13 years of figure skating she is now completely dedicated to only dancing. She has participated in her high school show called showbizz for 3 years and was the main choreographer.

This is Chanelle's second year in Thrive but 5th year with Remix Dance Academy.  She has recently completed the Remix Instructor Certification Program and has begun teaching for Remix Dance Academy this year.

Chanelle is currently studying in Hospitality Management at Algonquin College and plans to complete her masters in accounting in the next couple of years which will enable her to become a general manager in the hospitality industry.
