About the Dance Director
Bonnie Peltzer is the founder and owner of Bonnie's Hip Hop Dance Academy. Bonnie is a highly motivated professional with an extensive artistic range in hip hop dance instruction, choreography, staging, and management. She combines her experience and a real passion for dance to provide a unique and highly enjoyable learning experience to her students. Bonnie continues to expand her dance skills & knowledge by taking classes and attending different dance conventions in the Montreal and Ottawa area.

Bonnie has been teaching hip hop dancing since 1998. While working as a dance instructor for Perfekto and Perfektarts Academy from 1998 to 2002, she gained the confidence and desire to fulfill her dream of operating her own Hip Hop dance academy. Shortly after, the Remix Dance Academy was born. Her work has now become her true passion in life. For Bonnie, dance represents constantly educating yourself, working hard, staying focused, pushing your limits and staying true to yourself simultaneously. Although times have changed, one thing remains the same; Bonnie will always crave to help inspire, influence and motivate the dance community to the highest levels.

Hip Hop Defined
Many people only see hip hop as baggy pants, bandanas, cornrows, flashy gear, and loud music. For Hip Hop Dynamix it means much more than that. Hip hop is more than just a form of music; it’s a form of expression. Through stylish clothing, confident personalities and positive attitudes a lifestyle, mind set, and culture is expressed. As a result, Hip Hop dancers have their own unique identity.

About the company
From 2002 to 2006, Remix Dance Academy operated under the name of Bonnie’s Hip Hop Dance Academy. Hip Hop Dynamix offers hip hop dance lessons to approximately 250 students and operates in the areas of Casselman-Embrun, Hawkesbury, Orleans and Rockland.

We are confident in the quality, appropriateness, safety, and correctness of our instruction and operations. Our goal is to ensure that every student has a satisfying, positive and rewarding dance experience. We embrace and welcome all students, new and returning.
